Brent has been surfing the Gulf waters off of South Padre Island since his teens, and has lived in the Rio GrandeValley for most of his life. He moved to McAllen as a child with his family in 1980. He then went on to attend TexasStateUniversity in San Marcos in 1989. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography, he moved back to McAllen and has worked for Continental Airlines since his return. He has since built a home with his wife and dog on South Padre Island and joined the team at Lynne Tate Real Estate as a licensed realtor to help others find their dream home on the beach. Brent has a passion for surfing and the island. He will definitely bring that passion to your island property, whether you are buying or selling.

Peggy began her career in the property management business in 1968 and then formed a property maintenance company operating in major Texas & Oklahoma cities. Moving to the Island in 1982 and after several years of retail ownership on South Padre and semi-retirement, Peggy again worked in property management and resort rentals and then began selling real estate in 1994. She enjoys cooking, traveling, fishing, and Harley Davidson motorcycle riding.

Selina was born and raised in Brownsville,Texas and has lived in the Laguna Madre area most of her life. After graduating from St. Joseph Academy in Brownsville she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Houston in 1987. The following year Selina moved back to the valley and began her own business, a successful sales and service company targeting the water treatment industry in Texas and Mexico. After 17 years as CEO, Selina joined the Lynne Tate Real Estate team.
As a native of South Texas Selina speaks English and Spanish. She grew up in this rich culture where Texas meets Mexico and where the unique South Texas landscape meets the Gulf of Mexico. Her hobbies include fishing, golfing, birding, photography, cooking and traveling.

Patricia Mayes was born in Fort Worth, TX and has spent most of her life there. After working for eight years in the banking industry in northeast Texas she moved to the Rio Grande Valley in 1986 and started a retail business in Harlingen and McAllen. In 1991 she bought property on South Padre Island and has been doing business ever since. She quickly became involved with the community by serving on the Board as president of the Chamber of Commerce. She presently serves on the Board of the Laguna Madre Humane Society. Her business experience and knowledge of South Padre Island and the Laguna Madre Area make selling real estate a perfect fit. “I love the island and the people that have chosen to live here. Deanna joined Lynne Tate Real Estate after almost two decades teaching elementary school. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Deanna earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and moved to Houston where she received a Master's degree from the University of Houston. South Padre became home in 1999, teaching in Port Isabel before becoming a Realtor. Her goal is to continually expand her knowledge of the real estate market and to provide professional, honest representation.

Bette purchased her first property on South Padre Island twenty five years ago and now calls this island home. She was raised in Missouri, attended University of Missouri, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She began her Real Estate career in Phoenix, but not liking the dry climate of Arizona, moved to South Padre Island four years ago and joined the Lynne Tate team. Judi discovered, " The Best beach in Texas," known as South Padre Island, in the early 80's. She fell in love with the beaches, warm blue water, and life in Paradise. She relocated to the island in 1997 and pursued her real estate career.

Linda Zuniga

Linda’s wealth of experience and knowledge encompasses both real estate sales and on-site property management. As the on-site property manager for the Suntide I Condominiums from 1979 to 1982, she gained experience working with property owners, visitors to South Padre Island, vendors, maintenance, housekeeping, and reservation personnel.
Linda obtained her Texas Real Estate License in 1982 and immediately was involved in real estate sales for the next several years. Then it was time to utilize her specialized real estate office administrative skills. Understanding the behind-the-scenes activity of the real estate office, Linda was able to help others to be more productive and the real estate office to function more efficiently.
Linda now brings these many years of experience and knowledge to Lynne Tate Real Estate. As a member of the Texas Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors, Linda carries the designation of Realtor. She is also a member of the Laguna Madre Area Property Listing Service and when asked to serve as a Committee Chairperson working on changes to the MLS System (Navica), she was happy to take on this responsibility.
Linda continues her education by taking various real estate courses and is currently working toward the designation of GRI (Graduate Realtor® Institute).
